The Pirates of Penzance October 12 & 14, 2018 Camelot February 8-10, 15-17, 2019 Eugene Onegin April 26 & 28, 2019

All who love to sing are invited!

The first day of auditions will be held Saturday, August 18th beginning at noon at the Music Arts Center, 19 North 10th Avenue, Suite 2 (behind Wendy’s restaurant). IOB Artistic Director Linda Curtis will be conducting the auditions.

The second set of auditions will be held Thursday, August 30th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 5 West Olive Street, Bozeman. IOB Artistic Director Linda Curtis will be conducting the auditions, along with IOB Choral Conductor Dr. Lukas Graf.

Please bring one prepared piece (a second piece sung in Russian will be given additional consideration). Preferred are pieces that are memorized, though this is not a requirement. An accompanist will be available, but if you wish to bring your own, please do so. If you do need the IOB accompanist, you will need to provide an extra copy of the music.

The audition sheet will ask you to indicate your experience on stage. A performance resume is encouraged, but not required.

Chorus members from previous IOB productions need not audition unless interested in a small role, but should still contact the office to express interest in being a member of this season’s chorus.

Audition spots will be 5 minutes in length and assigned on a first come first serve basis. Assigned times are available by calling the IOB office. To make an audition appointment or for further information on the productions, call the Intermountain Opera Bozeman office at 406-587-2889 or email

Looking forward to hearing you sing!
