Dear Friends,
Back in July of 2022, the board and staff of Intermountain Opera Bozeman sat around one of those large conference tables that boards and staffs sometimes sit around, and we talked about our mission. We'd been moving in a new direction, and we wanted to formally recognize that change. While world class performances would always take center stage - quite literally - community partnerships were becoming a more vital piece of our work. So we began to edit.
The mission of Intermountain Opera is to enrich the region with world-class opera, musical theatre, and live music performances.

That minor change in wording has had a major impact on our work. In our 2022-23 season, we partnered in large and small ways with no fewer than 17 organizations, resulting in 55 total shared performances over the course of the season.
It's an honor to serve this community through the work that we do. It's an honor to serve Intermountain Opera's 45-year old legacy in this way. Thank you for your support in helping us achieve this impact.
